The Liverpool Telescope

The Liverpool Telescope (LT) is a fully robotic astronomical telescope owned and operated by the Astrophysics Research Institute of Liverpool John Moores University.

Sited at the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos on La Palma, it serves as a prototype for production-line 2-metre class telescopes. As the "first off the line", it continues to deliver rapid response data for transient astronomy.
